Institutions that have implemented the product/service: The underlying funds invested by TII provide governance and consultancy services as well as investment support to the companies they invest in. In addition, the adviser representing TII; participates in the advisory boards of these funds as a member and
MSMEs served: TII’s domicile is in Luxembourg. The invested companies are mostly the companies located in Turkiye.
Challenges
The invested funds must comply with the legislation of TII. They are required to meticulously complywith the sensitivities regarding AML, especially compliance with all European Union legislation concerning
investment.
The lives of these entrepreneurs' customers have been impacted. We do not have records of how many they are. Because TII only invests in private equity and venture capital funds. These funds invest in companies. There is no information in TII about the number of customers.

Description of Innovation
Product innovation: A good or service that is new or significantly improved. This includes significant improvements in technical specifications, components and materials, software in the product, user friendliness or other functional characteristics. Process innovation: A new or significantly improved production ordelivery method. This includes significant changes in techniques, equipment and/or software. Marketing innovation: A new marketing method involving
significant changes in product design or packaging, product placement, product promotion or pricing. Organisational innovation: A new organisational
method in business practices, workplace organisation or external relations.
TII is Türkiye’s first dedicated Fund of Funds PLATFORM brings together a selected group of investors to capitalise on Türkiye’s risk capital opportunities. TII has two sub-funds; Sub Fund A: Istanbu
Results
Up until 2006, two independently managed VC/PE funds in themarket. After the establishment of TII; it was invested in a
number of funds in the market and has been instrumental in this
development. In addition to capital, TII provided financial discipline
and corporate governance to Türkiye’s SMEs through its invested funds.
Sub Fund A: iVCi has signed ten commitments including a
co-investment. iVCi has now successfully completed its investment period
having fully committed to 10 portfolio funds and these funds invested in
78 companies leveraged approximately EUR 1.5bn third-party capital.
Sub Fund B: TGIF has signed eleven commitments. TGIF also successfully completed its
investment period having fully committed to 11 portfolio funds and these funds invested in
87 companies leveraged over EUR 750 million third-party capital.
